Pool Fun In Las Vegas: An Affordable Add-On To Your Luxe Stay

Looking to add a little extra luxury to your stay in Las Vegas? Consider adding on a pool experience! Many of the top hotels in Las Vegas offer their guests complimentary access to their pool areas. This is a great way to relax and enjoy the sun without spending any extra money.

In this blog post, we will tell you about some of the best pools in Las Vegas that you can enjoy with a low cost day pass, plus one awesome FREE option!

MGM Grand Las Vegas

  1. Open to all ages.

  2. Cover charge: Women: $10. Men: $20 – $40.

  3. Wet Republic is open to the public. The other pool areas are for hotel guests only.

This is one of the most popular and largest pools in Las Vegas. It is a rooftop pool that overlooks the stunning Las Vegas Strip. Despite its sixe, due to its popularity it can get crowded.

Paradise on earth. Tropical oasis. Whatever you call it, the MGM Grand pool complex is a beautiful swimming and chilling out experience. The Grand pool complex is surrounded by lush foliage, hidden bridges, lush fountains and waterfalls.

The vibe is different for each pool area and so this is a good option if you have people in your travelling group into different things. There really is something for everyone here. Our favourite part of MGM Grand is sitting back and enjoying a ride down the 8,000-foot-long meandering lazy river.

The Grand pool complex is open year-round, with a minimum of one pool and one whirlpool open seven days a week. The pool has cabanas and daybeds that you can rent, as well as a number of poolside bar and cafes offer food, snacks, cocktails and drink services.

The Venetian Pool Deck

  1. Open to all ages.

  2. Cover charge: Men: $30. Women: $20.

  3. Tao Beach is open to the public. The other pool areas are for hotel guests only.

This pool is located on the top floor of The Venetian Las Vegas. It has a great view of the Las Vegas Strip and has a sophisticated manicured and classical look.

The Venetian has two stunning pool areas for guests. The 5-acre rooftop deck, which includes swimming pools, hot tubs, and private cabanas, is complete with a more peaceful and laid-back atmosphere. You can expect a more upbeat vibe in the the Venezia Tower pool area. All open swimming pools have lifeguards.

The Mirage Pool

  1. Open to all ages.

  2. Cover charge: Women: $10. Men: $20 – $40.

  3. Bare Pool Lounge is open to the public. The other pool areas are for hotel guests only.

This pool is located in the centre of The Mirage Las Vegas. It is a large, lagoon-style pool with waterfalls, hundreds of palm trees, and a sandy beach area. Although children are allowed in the pool, I wouldn’t say it is particularly designed with them in mind with no water park like features. The Private Oasis pool is an adults-only space that is more private.

Lifeguards are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week all year, and free towels, loungers and kids’ life jackets are available to guests. Beverage service is also offered throughout the pool area. Pool boats may be hired for a fee.

The stunning setting, plentiful dining options and upbeat vibe make a trip to the Mirage pool a great place to hand out all day.

Top Golf

  1. Open to 21+ .

  2. Cover charge: $0.

  3. All areas open to the public

Collectively called The Hideaway, the Vegas Top Golf has two pools, and the larger one has a swim up bar. We love its modern luxe pool party feel. It even sometimes has celebrity DJs at the poolside at low cost.

On the small side, but when we went it wasn’t crowed, even during peak times. We feel its an unknown gem in Las Vegas as its on top of a bar rather than an internationally known hotel. So shhsh.. don’t tell everyone!

A Quick Note on Cabanas

Cabana hire is available at most Las Vegas pool complexes. They usually cost between $200 and $800 per day, depending on location and day of the week.

It’s worth noting that cabanas in Las Vegas are much more EXTRA than you might be used to. Most have flat screen TVs, newspapers and magazine, heating and air con, fruit platters and of course soft drinks and alcoholic drinks ready and waiting for you. Most have a cabana host to meet your every whim too!

So there you have it, our pick of the Las Vegas pools that are open to the public which are perfect for a bit of relaxing time in the craziness that is Las Vegas! Whether you are looking for a party atmosphere or somewhere more secluded to relax, there is sure to be something to suit everyone’s taste.
